옴은 일종의 마이트 감염에 의해서 생기는 전염성 피부 감염이고 감염성 성병이다.
외음, 손, 발, 몸통, 음경을 비롯한 외부생식기 등에 기생하는 것이 보통이다.
마이트가 기생하는 피부 부위가 가렵고, 긁으면 피부 손상이 생기고 거기에 세균이 감염되면 부스럼과 농가진 등 2차 세균 감염이 생길 수 있다.
쿠엘 등으로 국소용 이약으로 치료한다.

Scabies

Scabies is a contagious skin infection caused by a type of mite infection and is an infectious sexually transmitted disease.
It is usually parasitic on the external genitalia, including the vulva, hands, feet, torso, and penis.
The area of the skin where mites live is itchy, and scratching causes damage to the skin, and if the area is infected with bacteria, secondary bacterial infections such as swelling and impetigo can occur.
Treat with topical medication such as Quel.
