CDC says there have been 555 confirmed cases of measles this year
The New York Times (4/15, Malkin) reports that there have been 555 measles cases in the U.S. this year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Last week, there were 90 new cases, an increase from 78 the previous week.
The AP (4/15, Stobbe) reports “New York has been the epicenter” with “nearly two-thirds of all cases” from the state, “and 85% of the latest week’s cases.”
