CDC says there have been 555 confirmed cases of measles this year
The New York Times (4/15, Malkin) reports there have been 555 cases of measles this year in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Last week, there were 90 new cases an increase from 78 the previous week.
The AP (4/15, Stobbe) reports “New York has been the epicenter” with “nearly two-thirds of all cases” from the state, “and 85% of the latest week’s cases.”
