Reuters (4/16, Mathias) reports, “Abuse during childhood may cause physical changes to the human brain that in turn may render adults more vulnerable to depression,” researchers concluded in a study involving “magnetic resonance imaging.” The findings of the 110-patient study were published in the April 1 issue of The Lancet Psychiatry.
