Sleep talking is a sleep disorder in which a child involuntarily cries, laughs, or talks while sleeping.
While sleepwalking, nightmares, and sleep terrors are considered sleep disorders, sleep talking is considered a normal sleep pattern.
Sleep talking occurs during both non-REM and REM sleep.
Sometimes, a child can answer questions while sleeping, but their answers are meaningless.
After waking, they don’t remember their sleep talking.
No treatment is needed. Epilepsy (epileptic disease/epileptic seizure) = epilepsy
