생후 6개월 영아들에게나 그 이상 된 모든 아이들에게 플루 예방 접종을 해 주라고 권장한다.
언제 인플루엔자(독감)가 유행하기 시작했는지는 확실히 모른다. 그러나 매년 10월 말일까지 접종받으라고 권장한다.
생후 6개월부터 18세된 모든 아이들에게 처음으로 접종해 줄 불활성 인플루엔자 백신(inactivated influenza vaccine/IIV3/IIV4)으로 접종해 줄 수 있다.
생후 2세부터 9세 이전에 1회 내지 2회 접종을 받을 수 있고, 9세 이후에는 매해마다 1회 접종을 받는다.
생후 6개월부터 8세된 아이가 2019년 7월 이전에 3가 인플루엔자 백신이나 4가 인플루엔자 백신 중 한가지 백신으로 4주 간격을 두고 2회 접종을 받거나 그 이상 접종받았으면 1회 접종받는다.
그러나 2019년 7월 이전에 접종을 받지 않았거나 2회 이하 접종을 받았거나 접종을 받았는지 잘 모르면 1차 접종을 받고 1차 접종을 받은 후 4주 후에 2차 접종을 받는다.
9세나 그 이상 된 아이들은 과거에 접종받은 병력에 관계없이 한 접종 받는다.
임신부는 임신 중 어느 II V(불활성 인플루엔자 백신)로 1회 접종을 받는다.
항바이러스 약으로 치료하는 것도 중요하지만 예방 접종을 받아 예방하는 것이 더 중요하다.
약독생 플루 바이러스 백신은 권장하지 않는다.

It is recommended that all children aged 6 months or older be vaccinated against influenza.
We do not know for sure when influenza (flu) will begin to spread. However, it is recommended that you get vaccinated by the end of October every year.
All children aged 6 months to 18 years can be vaccinated with the inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV3/IIV4) for the first time.
When receiving the live supervised influenza vaccine LAIV, you can receive one or two doses between the ages of 2 and before 9 years of age, and once every year after the age of 9.
A child aged 6 months to 8 years old who has received two doses of either the trivalent influenza vaccine or the quadrivalent influenza vaccine before July 2019, spaced 4 weeks apart, or if he or she has received more than one dose, will receive one dose.
However, if you have not been vaccinated before July 2019, have received less than 2 doses, or are not sure whether you have been vaccinated, you will receive the first dose and the second dose 4 weeks after the first dose.
Children 9 years of age or older are vaccinated once, regardless of previous vaccination history.
Pregnant women receive one dose of II V (inactivated influenza vaccine) at any time during pregnancy.
Although it is important to treat with anti-virus medicine, it is more important to prevent it by getting vaccinated.
Live attenuated flu virus vaccine is not recommended.
