• 뎅구열은 모기 매개로 생기는 바이러스 감염병이다. 열대 지방이나 아열대 지방에서 유행되는 바이러스 감염병이다.

• 모기를 통해 감염되며 고열, 두통, 뎅구 출혈열 등이 생길 수 있다.

• Tetravalent Dengue Vaccine 2회 접종하면 예방 효과가 97%라고 한다. 소스: NEJM 11/21/2019 

• 현지에서는 DEET 곤충퇴치제(방충제)로 모기에 물리지 않게 예방한다([부모도 반의사가 되어야 한다–소아가정간호백과]-제2권 소아청소년 질병 및 안전사고 예방 참조).

Dengue Fever Prevention

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne viral infection. It is an endemic viral disease found in tropical and subtropical regions.
Transmission occurs through mosquito bites and can lead to symptoms such as high fever, headaches, and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever.
It is reported that administering two doses of the Tetravalent Dengue Vaccine offers a 97% preventive efficacy. Source: NEJM 11/21/2019
