니켈 알레르기 접촉성 피부염은 소아청소년 알레르기 접촉성 피부염 중 흔히 보는 접촉성 피부염이다.

니켈에 접촉한 후 수시간 내에, 수일 후에 접촉된 피부에 염증성 접촉성 피부염이 국소적으로 생긴다. 때로는 접촉된 피부 이외의 다른 피부에도 생길 수 있다.

발적되고 붓고, 가렵고 불편감이 생길 수 있다. 심하면 수면곤란도 생길 수 있다. 이런 증상 징후가 2~4주간 지속될 수 있다.

니켈 성분은 귓고리 등 보석에도 있고 코인, 벨트, 랩톱 컴퓨터, 스냅 단추, 지퍼, 의자. 정형외과 기구, 면도날, 열쇠, 셀룰러폰, 폰,전자기구, 속눈썹 프렘, 목거리, 손목 시계 줄, 손목 거리 등에 들어 있을 수 있다.

진단:병력, 진찰 소견 등을 종합해 진단할 수 있다.

니켈 알레르기 접촉성 피부염과 감염성 피부염 등과 감별 진단한다.

치료

피부연화제, 국소 스테로이드제 연고, 칼시뉴린 억제제 등으로 치료한다.

니켈 방출에 노출되지 않도록 예방한다.

Nickel Allergy Contact Dermatitis

Nickel allergy contact dermatitis is a common form of allergic contact dermatitis in children and adolescents.
After contact with nickel, localized inflammatory contact dermatitis develops on the affected skin within hours or days. Occasionally, it can also affect other skin types.

Redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort may occur. In severe cases, sleep disturbances may also occur. These symptoms can persist for 2 to 4 weeks.

Nickel can be found in jewelry such as earrings, coins, belts, laptops, snaps, zippers, chairs, orthopedic devices, razor blades, keys, cell phones, electronic devices, eyelash frames, necklaces, watch straps, and wristbands.
Diagnosis: A diagnosis can be made based on a comprehensive medical history and physical examination.

Nickel allergy contact dermatitis is differentiated from infectious dermatitis.

Treatment
Treatment includes emollients, topical steroid ointments, and calcineurin inhibitors.
Prevent exposure to nickel release.
