If blood pressure, based on sex, age, and height, is at or below the 90th percentile:

Normal Blood Pressure

If blood pressure, based on sex, age, and height, is between the 90th and 95th percentiles, OR is 120/80 mmHg to 129/<80 mmHg:

Prehypertension

If blood pressure, based on sex, age, and height, is 95th percentile + 12 mmHg, OR is 130/80 mmHg to 139/89 mmHg:

Stage 1 Hypertension

If blood pressure, based on sex, age, and height, is ≥ 95th percentile + 12 mmHg, OR is ≥ 140 / ≥ 90 mmHg:
