효력이 있는 결핵 약으로 치료를 사작 한후 3~4주 되면 결핵를 감염시키지 않는 것이 보통이나 폐 결핵환자의 침 결핵균 검사에서 결핵균이 발견되었던 폐결핵 환자를 치료 효과가 있는결핵약으로 치료시작 한 후 수개월 동안 결핵균이 가레에 나와 다른 사람에게 결핵균을 전파 시킬 수 있다.

Recent Tuberculosis Treatment
After starting effective anti-tuberculosis treatment, patients are usually free of tuberculosis infection within 3-4 weeks. However, patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who were previously tested for tuberculosis bacteria in saliva may shed tuberculosis bacteria in their sputum for several months after starting effective anti-tuberculosis treatment, potentially transmitting the bacteria to others.
