지카바이러스 감염병 Zika virus infectious disease

 

• 원인과 역학

• 지카바이러스 감염으로 생기는 바이러스 감염병이다.

• 모기에 물리면 이 병이 발생할 수 있다. 수혈로도 감염된다 .

• 성교를 통해 감염될 수 있다고.

• 아프리카, 동남아시아, 태평양군도, 아메리카, 포르투갈리아 등 전 세계 각 지역에서 발병되고 있으나 아직 미국에서는 발병된 예가 없다.

• 그러나 미국에서는 외국에 여행하고 돌아온 여행자에게서 발병된 예는 있다.

• 이 바이러스 감염병은 몇 십 년 전에 이미 발생해서 알려진 감염병이다.

• 감염되면 무증상인 경우나 열, 피부 발진, 관절통, 결막염 등이 경도로 나타날 수 있다.

• 이런 증상 징후들이 여러 날 동안 또는 1주 동안 계속될 수 있다.

• 병원에 입원할 정도로 심한 증상 징후가 생기는 경우는 드물다.

• 그러나 임신부가 이 바이러스에 감염되면 태아에게 선천성 신경계 기형이 생길 수 있다.

• 특히 브라질에서 임시부가 이 바이러스에 감염된 후 태아 기형이 생겨 그에 관한 연구를 하고 있는 중이다.

• 특히 임신부가 이 바이러스에 감염되면 태아에게 소두증이 생길 수 있고 그외 다른 뇌 이상이 생길 수도 있다.

• 지카 바이러스 감염으로 Guillain-Barré 증후군이 생기는지 연구 중이다.

• 병력, 증상 징후, 진찰 소견, 혈액검사, 항체 검사 등으로 진단한다.

• 대증치료를 한다.

 접종 약은

•  없다.

• 모기에 물리지 않게 곤충퇴치제를 이용한다.

• 그리고 모기에 물리지 않게 옷을 잘 입는다.

Zika Virus Infectious Disease

Causes and Epidemiology
This is a viral infection caused by the Zika virus.
The disease can be transmitted through mosquito bites and blood transfusions.
It can also be transmitted through sexual intercourse.
It has been reported worldwide, including in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, the Americas, and Portugal, but has not yet been reported in the United States.
However, there have been cases in the United States of Zika in travelers returning from overseas.
This viral infection has been known for decades.
Symptoms and Signs
Infection can be asymptomatic or mild, with symptoms such as fever, skin rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis.
These symptoms and signs can last for several days or even a week.
Severe symptoms requiring hospitalization are rare.
However, if a pregnant woman is infected with the virus, the fetus can develop congenital nervous system abnormalities.
Research is currently underway in Brazil, where a pregnant woman contracted the virus and developed fetal malformations. Infection with this virus, especially in pregnant women, can cause microcephaly and other brain abnormalities in the fetus.
Studies are underway to determine whether Zika virus infection causes Guillain-Barré syndrome.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis is based on medical history, symptoms, physical examination, blood tests, and antibody testing.
Treatment
Symptomatic treatment is provided.
Prevention
No vaccination is available.
Use insect repellent to avoid mosquito bites.
And dress appropriately to avoid mosquito bites. References and Sources
