부모를 공경하라
Respect your parents
Respect your parents
Have they been eating well recently? Are their teeth healthy? When did they last have a dental checkup? Do they visit the dentist regularly? Do they brush properly with fluoride toothpaste after every meal? Do they remove any plaque stuck between their teeth with a dental floss? Do they have toothache? Do they provide appropriate food for their child? Do they properly treat cavities? Do they properly treat missing teeth? Do they properly treat broken teeth? Taking good care of your child is also a way for children to honor their parents. Take them to an ophthalmologist for an eye exam to check their vision. Check their intraocular pressure to see if they have glaucoma. Check for cataracts. Presbyopia can cause dry eyes and poor vision due to poor tear production. Doing these things is also an act of respecting your parents. You may be suffering from hearing loss due to old age, when you visit an ENT specialist and claim your hearing is impaired due to excessive earwax in the ear canal. Honor your parents by removing earwax. Provide earplugs as needed.
Your parents enjoy taking their children on sightseeing trips together. Take them on tours and dress them in nice, pretty clothes. They will be beaming with joy. Frequently scrape their fingernails and toenails and rub their legs. Your grandchildren will honor you better than you, not just with words. The Ten Commandments call for honoring your parents in this way. Please forgive me. Why didn’t I honor my parents this well? Lee Sang-won
