Hydrogen peroxide poisoning 과산화수소 중독 H₂O₂ poisoning
The following is an example of a question-and-answer on health counseling for children and adolescents on the Internet about “Hydrogen Peroxide Poisoning Accident”.
Q&A.
Hydrogen peroxide poisoning accident
Hello.
I am the mother of a child who is 20 months old.
I think my child drank some hydrogen peroxide two days ago.
I made him vomit right at the time, so he vomited all with the milk he drank in the morning.
I went to the hospital (this is China right now….^^;;)
I had to come within 2 hours, but it was a little late (I went after about 3 hours).
I have been receiving anti-inflammatory drugs and vitamin C, saying that I do not know if it is because I drink it…
My baby is in good condition…
I keep getting worried..
I searched all over the place and said that if you drink a toxic foreign substance, you should not induce vomiting..
It can irritate the esophageal wall.
The child drinks a lot of water that evening, eats rice, and sees the stool easily.
Still, I keep worrying… .^^;;
Is there any possibility that symptoms may appear after a little while…
I’m sorry for the question that I don’t have to ask..
Have a nice day today.
please answer my question….
Thank you…

Hello.
Thanks for asking a good question.
The more detailed information you have, such as your child’s age, gender, past medical history, family medical history, medical examination findings, and clinical examination, the better we can give you, but we will respond based on the information you provided.
What is the current weather in China?
There is still a lot of white snow around my house.
However, the spirit of spring seems to be blowing in the south wind.
I know that there are people who also look at my homepage there, and I am happy to be able to help even a little.
I think it would be great if my beloved North Koreans also used my homepage to help raise their children.
In the Handbook of Common Poisonings in Children, 3rd edition, p.31, the American Academy of Pediatrics, in the section entitled Nontoxic ingestions, there is a section for non-toxic substances.
Reading the literature says, “Drinking a small amount of the following things or touching your skin will not cause health problems, so you can do the observational treatment at home.
” There is also H₂O₂ (3% hydrogen peroxide) included in the related literature.
As you may know, drinking small amounts of hydrogen peroxide usually does not cause health problems.
There is no need to worry.
Parents should also be At least half -doctors – please read the Encyclopedia of Child and Family Nursing, Volume 2, Prevention of Child and Adolescent Disease Safety Accidents.
