귀를 자극하지 않는데도 귀에서 소리가 나는 증상을 이명이라고 한다.
소아청소년들에서는 흔하지 않는 증상이다.
너무 큰 소리로 인한 청각 손상, 스트레스, 만성 청력 상실, 원인 없이 자연히 생길 수 있다.
고혈압, 중이염, 귀속 종양, 귀 신경, 혈관 이상, 귀 주변 근육이상, 약물 등으로 이명이 생길 수 있다.
치료는 원인에 따라 한다 .

Tinnitus is a condition in which a sound is heard in the ear even when the ear is not stimulated.
It is a rare symptom in children and adolescents.
Cause
Hearing damage from too much noise, stress, chronic hearing loss, and it can occur spontaneously without a cause.
High blood pressure, otitis media, ear tumor, ear nerve disorder, blood vessel abnormality, and muscle abnormality around the ear. Tinnitus may occur due to medication.
Treatment depends on the cause.
