139년 전 알렌, 에비슨, 세브란스 선교사 도움으로 모교가 생겼고 저는 서울역 앞에 있던 세브란스병원에 목탄차 하나만 있던 그 시절에 입학 했지요
우리 의료 인들은 인간들을 First, Do No Harm으로 사랑으로 건강하고 행복하게 인술로 대 해야 합니다. 감정적으로, 정신적으로, 신앙적으로, 부귀 빈곤에 따라 가리지 말고 네몸과같이 내가족 같이 치료 해줘여 합니다. 최신 의료 기술, 재원, 글로벌 연수도 필요 하지만
인간 기본 필수 근본 조건인 의, 식, 주, 건강, 사랑입니다. 우리 국민들이 건강하고 행복하게잘 살게개 하려면 우리는 이상적인 국정 의료정책에 동참해야 합나다. 의료 교육및 건강 교육을 언어 과목이나 산수 과목 같이 어렸을 때 부터 온 국민들에 가르처야 아이들도, 부모도 ,청장년 노인들도 임산부들도 적어도 반의가 될 수 있습니다. 바로 이런 일을 의과 대학에서 할 일이라고 생각 합니다. 바로 이렇게하면 개인병, 클리닉, 동네병원, 일차, 2차, 3차 병원의 역활이 정해 질 수 있습니다.
이렇게 하면, 세계에서 가장 높은 한국 저출산 문제도 해결 될 것이고 청소년자살률도 해결 될 것입니다.오늘 날 한국 국민 의료 문제도 해결 될될 것입니다.
한국 북한 전세계 8천만 한인들, 또 전세계 70억 인류들을 행복 하고 건강하게 하는 정책을 우리 연세의료 원에서 부터 만드세요.

My name is Sangwon Lee, a Korean-American pediatrician and an alumnus of the 1963 graduating class of Yonsei University College of Medicine.

Medical professionals must treat people with love, health and happiness, First, Do No Harm. You have to treat patients with no discrimination emotionally, mentally, religiously, and as if I were your own family, without any discrimination based on wealth or poverty. The latest medical technology, financial resources, and global training are also needed.
These are the basic human necessities: clothing, food, shelter, health, and love. If we want our people to live healthy and happy lives, we must participate in an ideal national medical policy. Medical education and health education, such as language and arithmetic subjects, must be taught to all citizens from a young age so that children, parents, young people, the elderly, and pregnant women can at least become the half-doctors. I think this is exactly what medical school should do. By doing this, the roles of private hospitals, clinics, neighborhood hospitals, and primary, secondary, and tertiary hospitals can be determined.
If we do this, the problem of Korea’s low birth rate, which is the highest in the world, will be solved, and the youth suicide rate will also be solved. The problem of Korea’s national health care today will also be solved.
Let us, at Yonsei Medical Center, create policies that will make the 80 million Koreans in Korea, North Korea, and 7 billion people around the world happy and healthy.

Just as medical professionals need food, clothing, and shelter, medical books are like food, but even when I contacted them to give away my books, not a single Korean medical school would accept them. My heart hurts
