UConn named in the top 25 public schools in the country. See ranking
The University of Connecticut (UConn) just made College Raptor’s top 25 public colleges of 2025 – the only New England school to place.
College Raptor, a subsidiary of Citizens Bank, is a leading college planning platform where prospective students can research schools in a variety of categories. They base their rankings on date from the previous enrollment year, including factors such as graduation rates and campus diversity.
Their list of best public colleges, or schools funded partially by state government, includes institutions with quality education, various student organizations, good internship opportunities and a large, diverse student body.
Out of the 25 ranked schools, UConn came in 20th place, earning its place among names like the College of William and Mary and the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).
