내 어릴 때 나의 집 봄과 나물

내가 살았던 안면도 장등개 초가집은 뒤로 야산가에 있던 집이다. 나는 9남매 중 장남이지만 동생들과 또는 엄마나 아버지와 한 번도 산에 같이 간 적이 없다.

산에 두릅 나물이나 도토리 또는 밤 등을 따러 산에 갈 때 나 혼자 갔다.

집 바로 앞에는 보리니 야채를 심어 먹는 조그만한 밭이 있고, 그 아래는 조그마한 논이 있고 그 논 뚝을  거너가면 야산이 있었다. 그 야산을 넘어가면 흐르깨란 동네가 나온다.  우리 집에 서쪽으로 100 m 떨어진  작은 할아버지 집이 있었고 그 집 아래쪽에  작은 인도가 있고 그 길로 약 100 m 서쪽으로 가면 야산이 있었다. 그 야산을 넘어가면 각은골이란 동네가 있다.

 봄에는 앞뒷산 여기애 분흥 색 진달래 꽃이 만발해 참 아름다웠다.

 칙 꽃이 피고, 머루꽃도 피고 두릅나물, 벙구나물이 핀다. 다래, 도토리 꽃이 핀다.

거기다 산 복숭아 꽃도 핀다. 바닷가 갈대,  개금 꽃도 핀다.  8-9살 때 어디서 이런 꽃 이름을 배웠는지 나도 모른다.

논 물가에 미나를 뜯어다  무쳐 먹었다.

이런  산나물을 집에 가져와서 다듬어 쌀마서 어니님에게 드리면 요리해서 전 식구들이 잘 먹었다.

소리쟁이 산 달리. 멩감, 찔레꽃, 소나무꽃들도 볼 수 있다.

The thatched house in Anmyeondo Jangdeunggae where I lived was a house behind a mountain. I am the eldest of nine siblings, but I have never gone to the mountain with my siblings or my mother or father.

When I went to the mountain to pick wild greens, acorns, or chestnuts, I went alone.

Right in front of the house was a field where we planted barley and vegetables, and then there was a small rice paddy, and if you crossed the embankment of the rice paddy, there was a mountain.

If you crossed the mountain, you would come to a village called Heureukgae.

About 100 meters west of my house was a my father’s uncle’s father’s house, and there was a small sidewalk below that house, and if you went about 100 meters west along that road, there was a mountain. If you crossed the mountain, you would come to a village called Gak-eun-gol.

In spring, the azalea flowers in full bloom on the mountains in front and behind were beautiful.

Chickweed flowers bloom, cornelian cherry blossoms bloom, and dandelion and dandelion flowers bloom. Acorns and quince flowers bloom.

Moreover, mountain peach blossoms bloom. Sea reeds too.

I don’t know where I learned the names of these flowers when I was 8 or 9 years old.

I picked minaris from the rice paddies and ate them.

I brought these wild greens, trimmed them and gave them to my mother,  and she cooked them and the whole family ate them well.

You can also see the sorijaengi mountain dally, menggam, jolle flowers, and pine flowers.
