안중국민학교 5학년 학생들의 모심기

내가 다녓던 안중국민학교는 한 마지기 정도 논과 두 마지기 정도 밭을 소유 하고 있었다.
5학년 때 초 여름에 5학년 반에서 열명 정도 남학생들이 학교 논에 모를 심었다.
나도 뽑혀 모를 심었다.
논 물은 거의 무릅까지 빠질 정도로 흙탕물이었다.
우리들은 선생님이 심으라는 지시 대로 심었다.
재수가 없어서인지 까만 거머리가 내 다리를 물어서 피가 줄 줄 나왔다.
그 때 선생님은 모자를 쓰고 양복을 입고 넥타이를 매고 구두를 신고 논 뚝에 서서 이러라 저러래 모 심는 우리 학생들에게 지시만 하고있었다.
솔 솔 부는 초 여름 바람에 그 선생님의 낵타이가 안면도 중장리 안중국민학교 하늘로 날렸다.
나이 90세가 된 지금 나는 그때 모심는그 날 그 선생님이 생각이 나서 이글을 쓴다.
그 선생님도 양복을 벗고 어린 학생들과 같이 모를 같이 심었었으면 ……..…
Anjung Elementary School 5th-grade students planting rice seedlings
Anjung Elementary School owned about one acre of rice paddy and two acres of fields.
In the early summer of my 5th-grade year, about ten boys from my 5th-grade class planted rice baby plants in the school rice paddy.
I was also picked out to plant rice baby plants. The water in the paddy was so muddy that it almost reached my knees. I planted as the teacher instructed.
I was unlucky, so a black leech bit my leg and blood started to flow out.
At that time, the teacher was wearing a hat, a suit, a tie, and shoes, standing on the ridge of the rice field, and just giving instructions to us students who were planting rice baby plants.
I saw the teacher’s necktie blowing in the early summer breeze. Anmyeondo Jungjang-ri Anjung Elementary School.
Now that I am 90 years old, I am writing this article because I think of that teacher on that day of planting rice baby plants.
If that teacher had taken off his suit and planted rice baby plants together with the young students… .
