1. From 27 October 2025, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Communicable Diseases Agency will roll out the updated LP.8.1 Moderna/Spikevax and LP.8.1 Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccines at more than 600 General Practitioner (GP) clinics under the National Vaccination Programme (NVP), 10 polyclinics, and Mobile Vaccination Teams deployed across the island.

2. The updated vaccines, approved by the Health Sciences Authority, provide better protection against current and emerging strains of COVID-19 compared to previous versions. Their safety profiles are comparable to that of previous versions.  All vaccination locations offering the Moderna/Spikevax and/or Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccines will begin administering the updated vaccines from 27 October.

ECI’s 2025/2026 COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations

3. The Expert Committee on Immunisation (ECI) has recommended that individuals at increased risk of severe COVID-19 should receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The persons recommended for COVID-19 vaccination in 2025/2026 are:

   • Individuals aged 60 years and above;

   • Medically vulnerable individuals aged 6 months and above; and

   • Residents of aged care facilities.

4. Healthcare workers and persons living or working with medically vulnerable individuals are also encouraged to consider receiving the vaccine. Others aged 6 months and above who wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can continue to do so. Individuals may consider consulting their doctor to understand more about the benefits of the vaccine for their specific situation.

5. Unvaccinated individuals who are receiving COVID-19 vaccination in 2025/2026 should receive:

   • Two vaccine doses, eight weeks apart if they are aged 6 months to 4 years; and

   • One vaccine dose if they are aged 5 years and older.

6. Vaccinated individuals aged 6 months and above who are receiving an additional dose of COVID-19 vaccination in 2025/2026 should receive it at an interval of around one year (and at least five months) from the last vaccine dose.

7. COVID-19 vaccination continues to be free for all eligible individuals^[1] under the NVP. Members of the public can visit https://gowhere.gov.sg/vaccine for the nearest vaccination sites and the vaccine types offered. Individuals may book an appointment at any participating GP clinic through https://vaccine.gov.sg/covid, or at a polyclinic through the HealthHub booking system. Healthier SG enrollees are encouraged to visit their enrolled clinic for vaccination, if the clinic offers COVID-19 vaccination.

8. Mobile vaccination teams offering the COVID-19 vaccines will continue to be deployed across the island. Members of the public may visit https://go.gov.sg/mvt-s for the latest schedule.

9. COVID-19 waves will continue to occur from time to time and can cause severe disease among those who are older or medically vulnerable. To increase their protection against severe disease, we encourage everyone to remain updated with their vaccination based on the prevailing recommendations, much like vaccination against influenza.

2025년 10월 27일부터 업데이트된 코로나19 백신 접종 가능

보건부(MOH)와 전염병관리청은 2025년 10월 27일부터 국가 예방접종 프로그램(NVP)에 따라 600개 이상의 일반의원(GP), 10개의 종합병원, 그리고 전국에 배치된 이동식 예방접종팀을 통해 업데이트된 LP.8.1 모더나/스파이크백스 및 LP.8.1 화이자-바이오엔텍/코미네이티 코로나19 백신 접종을 시작합니다.

보건과학청의 승인을 받은 이 업데이트된 백신은 이전 버전에 비해 현재 및 새롭게 나타나는 코로나19 변종에 대한 예방 효과가 향상되었습니다. 안전성 측면에서는 이전 버전과 유사합니다. 모더나/스파이크백스 및/또는 화이자-바이오엔텍/코미네이티 백신을 제공하는 모든 백신 접종 장소에서는 10월 27일부터 업데이트된 백신 접종을 시작합니다.

ECI의 2025/2026년 코로나19 백신 권고안

예방접종 전문가 위원회(ECI)는 코로나19 중증 위험이 높은 사람들에게 코로나19 백신 접종을 권고했습니다. 2025/2026년 코로나19 백신 접종 권장 대상은 다음과 같습니다.

60세 이상 고령자

6개월 이상 기저질환자

요양원 거주자

의료 종사자 및 기저질환자와 함께 거주하거나 근무하는 사람들도 백신 접종을 고려하는 것이 좋습니다. 코로나19 백신 접종을 원하는 6개월 이상 모든 연령대는 기존대로 접종할 수 있습니다. 개인은 자신의 상황에 맞는 백신 접종의 이점에 대해 더 자세히 알아보기 위해 의사와 상담하는 것이 좋습니다.

2025/2026년에 코로나19 백신 접종을 받는 미접종자는 다음과 같이 접종받아야 합니다.

생후 6개월~4세는 8주 간격으로 2회 접종합니다.

5세 이상은 1회 접종합니다.

생후 6개월 이상 백신 접종을 완료한 후 2025/2026년에 추가 접종을 받는 사람은 마지막 접종 후 약 1년(최소 5개월) 간격으로 접종받아야 합니다.

국가 백신 접종 프로그램(NVP)에 따라 모든 접종 대상자는 코로나19 백신을 무료로 접종받을 수 있습니다.[1] 가까운 백신 접종 장소와 제공되는 백신 종류는 https://gowhere.gov.sg/vaccine 에서 확인할 수 있습니다. 개인은 https://vaccine.gov.sg/covid 에서 참여하는 모든 일반의원(GP) 또는 HealthHub 예약 시스템을 통해 종합병원(polyclinic)에서 접종 예약을 할 수 있습니다. Healthier SG 가입자는 해당 병원에서 코로나19 백신 접종을 제공하는 경우, 가입된 병원을 방문하여 접종받으시기 바랍니다.

코로나19 백신 접종을 제공하는 이동식 접종팀은 싱가포르 전역에 지속적으로 배치될 예정입니다. 최신 일정은 https://go.gov.sg/mvt-s 에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.

코로나19는 주기적으로 유행할 수 있으며, 특히 고령자나 기저질환자에게는 중증 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다. 중증 질환으로부터 자신을 보호하기 위해 독감 예방 접종과 마찬가지로, 모든 분들이 최신 권장 사항에 따라 예방 접종을 받으시기를 권장합니다.
