Apremilast (Otezla)

Otezla (apremilast) is a prescription medication used to treat plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and oral ulcers associated with Behçet’s disease. Otezla improves symptoms of plaque psoriasis—such as scaling, itching, and skin redness—and alleviates symptoms of nail and scalp psoriasis. When used to treat psoriatic arthritis, Otezla improves inflammation, joint swelling, and pain.
