원래 소아과 전문의는 결혼, 임신, 태아. 문만 해서 태아 난 신생아의 건강 증진, 질병 진단, 치료, 예방. 사랑 , 인성교육, 성장발육증진 등을 총괄적으로 책임지고 건강을 도모하는 의료인이다.그런데 고국에 “신생아를 돌볼 의사가 없다”는 뉴스를 읽고 참 마음이 아프다.

그러려면 각국 대통령 및 지도자들이 직접·간접적으로 이런 일을 하기 위해서는 범국가적으로 입법화해야 합니다.

경우에 따라 소아과 의사는 다른 의료 전문의들의 도움을 받아 소아청소년 건강 문제를 해결하고 또 부모의 정신·육체 등 문제가 있을 때 부모의 문제를 해결해 소아청소년 건강 문제를 해결할 때도 있다. 소아과 전문의는 소아 청소년의 건강 문제를 치료할 때 마치 내 몸을 치료하듯이 내 자녀를 치료하는 것처럼 한다.
국가는 소아과 전문의 수를 적절히 양성해야 한다고 생각한다.

“There are no doctors to care for newborns.”
Pediatricians are medical professionals who oversee the comprehensive health and well-being of children—from the prenatal stage through infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Their role encompasses everything from promoting health and diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases to fostering growth and development. It is truly heartbreaking, then, to read news reports stating that there are “no doctors to care for newborns” in my home country.
