현재 경기도 oo에서 전문의 자격증을 딴 이후로 바로 개원가로 나온 지 13년이 됐습니다.
박사님이 집필하신 책들을 보며 절로 감탄했습니다.
제가 의료에 문외한 아이 엄마 아빠의 위치였다면 병원에 진료받으러 갔을 때 의사 선생님들이 하는 말들을 과연 잘 알아 들을 수 있을까 하는 생각을 했었습니다. 이들과 소통하기 위해 어떤 설명을 해야 이해할지, 개원 초기에는 저에게 큰 시련이었습니다.
부모도 반의사가 되어야 한다는 말은 정말 맞는 말입니다.
아이의 부모와 소통하기 위한 지침서로 지금껏 큰 도움이 되어 감사의 인사를 드리고 싶었습니다. “
너무도 멋진 소아청소년과 전문의께 감사드립니다. 저의 모든 육아, 건강, 질병, 사랑, 수면 등 정보가 가득 찬 저의 일에 동참해 주시면 감사하겠습니다. 저는 소아청소년 환자를 진료할 때 5C를 항상 머릿속에 두고 진료를 했습니다.
첫째는 Concern입니다. 환자를 사랑으로 진료합니다. 둘째는 communication입니다. 의사 소통을 잘해야 합니다.환자의 병을 치료하는 것뿐만 아니라 환자와 그의 가족도 케어해야 합니다. 많이 공부해야 합니다. 즉, 의학 지식(knowledge)이 풍부해야 합니다. K는 C자도 아니지만 knowledge가 많아야 합니다. 그것 이외에도 좋은 의사가 될 수 있습니다. 즉, ability, available, and affordable 입니다. 그리고 보면 화자들이 몰려오고 돈을 억수로 불 수 있습니다. 그러나 의사는 First, do no harm를 원칙으로 의사 노릇을 해야 하지요. 진료실에서 저의 “부모도 반의사가 되어야 한다”라는 적당한 주제를 열어 부모님들에게 해당 정보를 보여 주시면, 박사님은 명의가 될 것입니다. 감사합니다.

Currently, it has been 13 years since I became a private practitioner in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, after receiving my specialist license.
I was amazed when I looked at the books the doctor wrote.
I wondered if I would be able to understand what the doctors said when I went to the hospital for treatment if I were a mother or father of a child who was not well-versed in medicine. It was a big ordeal for me in the early days of opening the clinic to know how to explain things to them in order to communicate with them.
It is truly true that parents should also be anti-doctors.
I wanted to express my gratitude as it has been a great help as a guide for communicating with the child’s parents. “
Thank you to the wonderful pediatrician. I would appreciate it if you could join me in my work, which is full of information on all things parenting, health, disease, love, sleep, etc. When treating children and adolescents, I always kept the 5Cs in mind.
The first is concern. We treat patients with love. The second is communication. You must communicate well. You must not only cure the patient’s illness, but also care for the patient and his family. You need to study a lot. In other words, you must have abundant medical knowledge. K is not the letter C, but you must have a lot of knowledge. Other than that, you must have AAA to become a good doctor. In other words, ability, available, and affordable. And when you see it, speakers will flock to it and you can make a ton of money. However, a doctor must act as a doctor based on the principle of first, do no harm.
