미 중고등 학교 학생들의 인종에 따라 담배 흡연 실태
2014~2017년도 하와이 본토 출신, 그 외 태평양 섬 출신 그리고 미국 인디안 계통 출신 그리고 알라스카 계통의 중고등 학생들이 모든 다른 종족 즉 흙인, 백인 ,히스패닉 계통의 중고등 학생들 보다 답배를 가장 많이 피우고 아시아 계통 중고등 학생들은 가장 적게 담배를 피운다는 연구결과가 나왔다.

Cigarette smoking status among U.S. middle and high school students by race
From 2014 to 2017, middle and high school students from mainland Hawaii, other Pacific islands, American Indians, and Alaskans smoked more than middle and high school students from all other ethnic groups, including Native Americans, Caucasians, and Hispanics, while Asian students smoked the most. A study has shown that smoking less means smoking less.
