자궁 내 피임장치(IUDs) 및 Progestin 임플란트 피임 방법으로 사춘기 여아 장기 작용 가역 피임(Long-acting reversible contraceptive/LARCs)을 가장 효과적으로 할 수 있다.

Progestin 임플란트로 피임하면 약 3년간 유지할 수 있고 실패율은 !% 이하이다.

Levonorgesterel 13.5mg을 자궁 내 3년간 임플란트하거나 Levonorgesterel 52mg을 5년간 자궁내 임플란트해 자궁강 내 피임 장치를 할 수 있다.

구리 등 비 호르몬 자궁 내 피임 장치 (Nonhormonal intrauterine device with copper/ParaGard)로 피임하면 10년간 피임 할 수 있다.

많은 경우 30~35ug ethinyl estradiol 정과 Progestin으로 피임을 시작하기도 한다.

피임 패치, 질 피임환, 경구용 피임 방법으로 피임할 때 피임 실패률은 9%이거나 그 이상이다.

Depot medroxyprogesterone acetate injection (DMPA/Depo Provera shot)

종합 주사용 피임 방법도 있다. 피임 실패률은 6%이다.

Intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUDs) and progestin implant contraceptive methods are the most effective long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) for adolescent girls.

Contraception with a progestin implant can be maintained for about 3 years, and the failure rate is less than !%.

Levonorgestrel 13.5mg can be implanted into the uterus for 3 years, or Levonorgestrel 52mg can be implanted intrauterinely for 5 years as an intrauterine contraceptive device.

Contraception with a non-hormonal intrauterine device with copper/ParaGard can provide contraception for 10 years.

In many cases, contraception is started with 30-35ug ethinyl estradiol tablets and progestin.

The contraceptive failure rate when using contraceptive patches, vaginal pills, or oral contraceptive methods is 9% or higher.

There are also comprehensive injectable contraceptive methods. The contraceptive failure rate is 6%.
