공자가 말씀하시기를 마을에 어질고 후덕함(인후) 한 풍속이 있는 것이 아름다우니, 인후한 마을을 선택하였으나 인에 있지 않는다면 어찌 지혜로운 사람이 될 수 있겠는가. 공안국의 해석
공자가 말씀하시기를 마음이 어진 사람의 마을에 사는 것이 아름다우니, 살 곳을 선택하면서 인자의 마을을 선택하지 않는다면 어찌 지혜로운 사람이 될 수 있겠는가.
