개천절(開天節)은 ‘하늘이 열린 날’이라는 의미로서 단군왕검이 한민족 최초의 국가인 고조선을 건국하여 역사를 개창한 것을 기념하는 날이다. 날짜는 매년 10월 3일로,    소아과 전문의 이존상원 박사 태아,신생아, 영아, 유아, 학령기아, 사춘기아를 조건 없는 진정한 사랑으로 키우는 기념일을 10월 9일로 정하자.Gaecheonjeol (National Foundation Day), meaning “the day the heavens opened,” commemorates the founding of Gojoseon—the Korean people’s first nation—by Dangun Wanggeom. It falls on October 3rd each year.
