Bullying is abnormal behavior and is a type of behavioral disorder that cannot be tolerated educationally, socially, or legally.

There was bullying and bullied students in middle and high school students about 50 years ago in Korea, and now middle and high school students are bullying and bullied among students. Recently, bullying is occurring a lot among American middle and high school students.

In the United States, about 6 million students have been bullied annually, and about 160,000 students have been bullied on the campus and during school days.

Many students are afraid of being bullied, fear of what will happen to them, and are reluctant to go to school or even absent from school.

In addition to being bullied on campus, on the way to school, or leaving school, they are also bullied through even the internet.

Bullying and being bullied through the internet is called cyberbullying.

It is said that this kind of bullying is on the rise today and the severity is very serious.

According to a study on bullying with 268 US middle and high school students, 40% of the 268 US middle and high school students were cyberbullying. Among them, girls are said to have been subjected to cyberbullying more than male students.

It is said that children who are bullying, children who are bullied, their families, schools, society, and the country have mental, social, educational, and economic problems. In the U.S. and in Korea, students who were bullied commit suicide and become crippled.

Nowadays, on the other hand, some students who are bullying may have to treat legally.

So, in order to solve all the problems arising from bullying, the US is setting up a policy to prevent bullying at the national level.

In addition, according to the national policy, it is trying to prevent disadvantages from occurring and to reasonably resolve the existing disadvantages.

Bullying occurs among kindergarten students, elementary, middle, and high school students, among students entering school, among students dismissing, and also among students at each level, as well as among family members, and among people in one neighborhood. Bullying can also occur among toddlers before entering kindergarten.

It occurs at the highest frequency among middle school students, and it usually occurs less and less after entering high school. However, in that respect, the disadvantage that occurs to high school students is more serious.

In 1999, at one of the high schools in Colorado, USA, the massacre was committed by a bullied student as an act of revenge.

Recently, there was an example of an 11-year-old girl committing suicide by hanging her neck in her bedroom due to be bullied in the United States. (CNN News, April 25, 2009).

Children who are bullied may develop various symptoms such as headache, depression, school refusal, and poor schooling.

At the same time, some children bully other children, and they also do teasing.

According to a Kaiser Family Foundation and Nickelodeon study, 50% of school-age children in the 8-11-year-old age group and 40% of adolescent children in the 12-15-year-old age group were bulling and bullied.

Therefore, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the US Health and Human Services (HHS and HRSA) have set up a bullying solution and prevention policy to prevent bullying from occurring among students, saying that bullying must be strongly prevented and addressed appropriately.

Teachers, students, pediatricians, and parents are educated on how to properly address the bullying that has arisen. Assault, alcohol, substance abuse, suicide, murder, sexual intercourse, teenage pregnancy, runaway, school refusal, depression, rebellion against authority, home invasion, criminal acts, Monetarism, and selfishness are prevalent in adolescent children today. In addition, bullying and teasing behaviors occur in adolescent children, causing parents, teachers, and all walks of life to fall into an anxious state.

It is classified into five types of bullying, in which children inappropriately treat other children or children group physically, mentally, emotionally, verbally, sexually, and cybernetically.

That is, it can be subdivided into physical bullying, verbal bullying, emotional bullying, sexual bullying, and cyberbullying.

Among them, verbal bullying is the most common. Also, sexual bullying is one of the extremely serious bullying behaviors.

In recent years, there is a growing tendency for cyberbullying through the internet or writing.

The behavior of bullying, harassing, teasing, and struggling with other children is also a type of bullying, but this type of bullying is called teasing.

There are also bullyings that attack physically, harass verbally, and manipulate psychologically at the same time.

Alternatively, only one of the various types of bullying may be performed, and/or two of the five bullyings may be simultaneously performed.

There are also bullying acts such as striking, beating, kicking, spitting and pushing other children for no reason.

In addition, after taking possession of a child who is being bullied, they hide it without returning it, and sometimes he is bullied by physically aggressive behavior such as trapping him somewhere.

They often use offensive languages, such as swearing, malicious teasing, gossip, or blackmail.

Sometimes, bullying is done only verbally, and at the same time, both verbally and physically.

This type of bullying is more common for boys than for girls.

There are less physical bullying toward girls but girls are bullied more psychologically and emotionally to make them feel guilty.

For example, bullying is sometimes done by spreading bad rumors so that a child being bullied can be mentally hurt, by making them bullied by friends or peers group, or by unfairly taking away what they have.

Boys tend to be more physically and sexually bullied than girls.

In general, it is common to be bullied more and repeatedly. Unfortunately, it is common that they are not protected from being bullied.

Also, even if they are bullied, they are more likely to fail to report it to parents, school authorities, or to the appropriate authorities.

For that reason, bullying and being bullied may continue to a certain limit.

Children of the same age group who are physically smaller and younger, lonely, fearful, and who fail to report to their parents, family, or school authorities are more likely to be bullied.

It is said that bullying is a type of serious psychological disorder and behavioral disorder that can occur not only in elementary school students but also in middle and high school students, and it is most common in 6th-grade elementary school students.

Unfortunately, many adults and educators treat bullying behavior as normal behavior for children. They also believe that bullying cannot be prevented and that bullying cannot be stopped.

For that reason, brothers and sisters in a family are bulling and bullied, children living in the neighborhood are bulling and bullied, and children are bullying and bullied at school playgrounds or playgrounds.

According to a study on bullying in middle school students, suicidal and self-harmful behaviors are more likely to occur in students who are bullied than students who are not bullied.

Children who are bullied may develop more anger, have more emotional problems adjusting to school or social life, more negatively view anything in social life, and more school-study disabilities, children can also deny school.

It can be the main cause of poor academic performance, behavioral disorders, anxiety, lack of self-esteem, and even mental problems.

Not eating well, physical health problems, headache, abdominal pain, nocturia, sleep problems, etc. can occur.

Drinking alcohol and substance abuse can also be more common in children who are disadvantaged. It can lead to more anxiety and depression. They can even commit suicide and kill themselves.

All bullying can be said to be a form of verbal or physical violence.

Also, most can be treated as some kind of aggressive behavior.

Most of the children who are bullying and the children who are bullied, whether they are boys or girls, they are bullying other and they are bullied and such a phenomenon is a common scene in the world of children these days. So these days, bullying behavior or teasing behavior is a very common behavioral disorder in school and children’s society.

If a child bullies or tees off other’s children once or continues to bully or tees, parents pay a lot of attention and immediately educate them not to be bullied anymore, and to correct their behavior so as not to make fun of others.

Sometimes older children or children who are taller and stronger than children of other ages are both mentally and physically tormenting children who are younger or weaker than me.

Children are always children. Even adolescent children belong to childhood

Our parents should not expect their children who grow up and behave maturely like adults, but we must make it clear to them that bullying or teasing other children is cruel and unacceptable behavior.

When a young child is bullied and teased, it is the duty and right of parents to immediately take care of the reason for such misconduct and provide corrective

treatment.

Reasons  for bullying or teasing

① A child who is bullying has a lot of worries or anxiety, he is anxious or weak in mind, is bullied at home or by his peers, he is bullied or teased due to the expression of anger, and is to hide his weaknesses in front of his peers. Overprotective behavior can lead to bullying or teasing.

② Sometimes, teasing or bullying behavior is fun, cute, and clever behavior to others, and there are children who bully and tease.

③ If parents make fun of their children while raising their children, they learn to make fun of others from their parents, and the children make fun of others.

④ You are bullied or teased by big brothers and sisters at home, and you may bully or tease other children to express their anger.

⑤ Regardless of the motive or reason for bullying, it is the absolute duty and responsibility of parents to prevent their children from bullying or teasing other children.

⑥ Sometimes, among the peers, they are large and strong, and they can bully or tease in the psychology of leading and leading peers.

⑦ In addition, if a child who is bullied is better at studying than other students, is particularly well dressed, has special school supplies, or is bullied by other children, the child may be bullied or teased.

Symptoms of warning signs that your child is being bullied (cyberbullying)

Children receiving cyberbullying may develop the following signs and symptoms:

  1. There are many negative emotions or thoughts, such as sadness, anger, frustration, lack of patience, and a lot of worry.
  2. School grades fall.
  3. They don’t eat well or they have sleep problems.
  4. Doesn’t get along well with family or friends.
  5. They hate to go to school.
  6. They hate going to social gatherings.
  7. They hate using computers, cell phones, or other technical devices.
  8. After receiving an email or text message, it makes me feel bad and puts more stress.

If your children are bullied or suffered from being bullied, the solution is as follows.

① Parents should teach their children who teasing or bullying that the act of teasing or bullying is inappropriate and wrong, and educate them to do appropriate and correct behavior. Also, immediately avoid teasing and bullying.

② In the meantime, did parents tease their children without knowing?

Find out if the siblings were teasing or bullying, and if they did, stop teasing and educate the siblings not to tease and bully.

When a child competes for superiority among his siblings or peers, train them to avoid bullying and/or teasing.

③ It teaches that bullying and teasing are bad behaviors using educational media such as TV or reference books on bullying and teasing.

It is clear that bullying and teasing behavior are inappropriate and absolutely unacceptable misconduct.

④ Encourage people to imagine what they felt when they were bullied or teased and educate others not to be disadvantaged anymore. It teaches that relationships between peers, friends, or siblings should not be bullied or teased and that they should do good thoughts and agreeable behaviors.

⑤ Parents through conversations with their children, Parents should frequently find out whether their child is bullying or teasing other children. If your brothers and sisters are no longer bully or teasing off, praise them.

⑥ Bullying or teasing can sometimes be punished by time-outs or behavior restrictions appropriate to the age. Also, you can limit their rights by not allowing them to play with toys anymore. Parents also teach children who have been bullied or teased to apologize for verbal mistakes, sometimes by phone or by writing.

⑦ If they don’t bully or teasing, you can give praise and reward to encourage them not to bully or tee.

⑧ In schools, appropriate school rules for correcting bullying or misconduct of students who are teasing are established by the local residents and the educational community related to the school authorities, clinical psychologists, and pediatricians to establish appropriate education and countermeasures. And educate and guide students who are teasing properly.

If possible, the parents of the child who was bullied as early as possible, the parents of the child who was bullied, the head of the school authorities, and teachers met together to find out the motives and reasons for the bullying and received an apology and forgiveness. It should be prevented from occurring.

⑨ In the United States, different school districts have different measures and regulations regarding student misconduct.

⑩ The State of Connecticut, depending on the degree of bullying or teasing misconduct, trains them by counseling at school, or consults with school authorities and parents.

The delinquency is sometimes treated with the help of a pediatrician or clinical psychologist. When the problem is more serious and simple treatment cannot educate students who are disadvantaged, schools may expel the student.

⑪ Expulsion from school can cause many problems in the future. Expulsion can lead to significant problems negatively at the individual, family, social and national levels. Therefore, expelling school should be a last resort.

⑫ In the United States, expelled students are required by law to receive special education at their local taxes. Connecticut also offers special education from 2 pm to 4:30 pm a day.

It is said that the average cost of education per person per day is about 50 to 70 dollars. This money is directly covered by residents’ taxes.
