If you go to school with insufficient nutrients or insufficient calories, your cognitive performance at school will decrease, especially in the morning, and you will not be able to study effectively. Physical energy is also reduced and physical education cannot be performed optimally. It is a good opportunity for the entire family to eat breakfast together, love each other, and talk. Eating only unbalanced cereals is also a problem.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
This is the longest fasting state out of 24 hours in a day, for about 12 hours, from eating dinner the night before around 5-7 p.m. to eating breakfast around 6-7 a.m. the next day.
In addition, skipping breakfast, eating breakfast late, or going to school without getting enough nutrients and energy from breakfast can reduce cognitive performance and physical activity at school. In particular, cognitive ability decreases during morning classes and students cannot study effectively. (Pediatrics, August, 2008)
If you skip breakfast, your blood glucose concentration will drop below normal while learning in the morning and your cognitive ability will decline further in the morning before lunch due to lack of nutrients that form neurotransmitters.
Other studies have shown that students who eat a proper breakfast have better vision, better hearing, better attention, and better memory. This is especially true during morning school life.
Among prepubescent or adolescent children, 10 to 30% of prepubescent and adolescent children do not eat breakfast at all, or according to studies, 10 to 30% of prepubescent and adolescent children skip breakfast.
In particular, female students, children from economically poor and socially low-income families, and adolescent children are more likely to skip breakfast.
In the United States and Europe, the number of children who fill their breakfast with sweets, bread, and cereals has been increasing significantly these days.
Children and adolescents who eat this way are more likely to develop childhood obesity and childhood overweight. Additionally, existing obesity may worsen.
These days, for various reasons, overweight and obesity are increasing at an alarming rate among infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents.
Obesity and obesity are becoming serious problems in the United States, threatening public health at a national level.
Children and adolescents who are overweight or obese are more prone to developing various diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, or high blood pressure.
Obesity must be prevented by consuming balanced nutrients and calories at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Photo 204. Eat food with sufficient nutritional value in the morning.

25-33% of the nutrients and energy needed each day should be consumed from breakfast, and minerals and vitamins such as calcium and iron should also be consumed appropriately.
If you mainly eat grains, cereals, or pastries that are high in sugar for breakfast, you can consume a lot of calories from those breakfast foods, and those calories can be used as part of the total amount of energy needed that day, but are necessary for growth and development. This can be detrimental to children’s growth and health as they do not receive enough essential nutrients such as protein, fat, vitamins, and fiber. When parents and all family members do not eat breakfast together, the communication of love between parents and children may be lacking.
Additionally, if you mainly eat sweet pastries for breakfast or skip breakfast, you will not be able to consume enough nutrients such as fiber, vitamins, and minerals that are essential for maintaining optimal health.
If you skip breakfast and go to school, you may have a lack of attention during the first few classes, your learning efficiency will not improve, and you will not be able to do school life as quickly as possible.
Not getting enough of the nutrients and calories needed each day from breakfast is a problem, but children who eat breakfast regularly gain weight normally and are more likely to eat the same foods they eat as their main meal at 3 o’clock a day throughout their lives. Habits can be established regularly, and weight control can be more easily achieved in childhood and adolescence and adulthood.
Children who only eat one or two meals a day naturally eat more food at one meal, which can cause severe fluctuations in blood sugar levels in the body. Conversely, children who eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner regularly have fewer fluctuations in their blood sugar levels and are able to consume the amount of calories they need each day evenly.
When parents and family members sit together at the same table in the morning to eat breakfast, it is an opportunity to find out how each other had a good night and share love through eye contact.
Waking up early in the morning and having breakfast cooked by parents is recognized as a sign of intensive love and care for their children. They are truly grateful for their parents’ way of raising their children and have a healthy sense of self-esteem.
Also, while eating breakfast, children can discuss and solve their schedules for the day or any problems through conversation with each other.
“Wake up in the morning, eat a bag of cereal with a cup of milk, and then go to school.” Breakfast in this way cannot be recommended for loving and raising children.
Dinner, like breakfast, is also very important because family mealtime, when the whole family gathers at one table, can become a time for family togetherness.
For one reason or another, many parents try to have breakfast with their children.
Unfortunately, this is not possible these days and is becoming a typical part of our lives.
It is very important for the whole family to eat a balanced breakfast that includes minerals such as calcium and iron, as well as fiber, vitamins, protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
