둘째 자부를 얻고 보니 안즘뱅이 밥먹다가 소면보러 가고 국 끄릴때 간을 보지 않고 한 자리에 잠시동안도 가만이 앉아 있지 않고 서성그렸다. 그 당시 주의력 결핍 장애나 행동 과다 장애란 병명이 없었다. 아마도 그런 경에 걸려 있었던 같다. 물론 결혼을 하기전 데이트도 않고 결혼식날부터 동거 하는 식으로 부부로 사는 때였다. 이 양반 댁 어머니는 누구를 보면 맞 메느라에 대한 이야기를 했다. 한번은 동네 친한 아주마를 맞났다. 이번 둘 째 메느리를 구 할 때는 결혼 시키기 전 잘 보아 찬찬한 며느리를 얻겠다 다짐 했다. 하루는 그 아주마가 와서 산너머 너머 몇 10리 가면 큰골 동네에 갔더니 처녀가 참 얌전 하고 이쁘고 아주 찬찬 하고 적절이 행동 하더라고 전했다. 바느질을 할 떼 봤더니 실꾸리를 쓰면 무릅 밑이 놓고 가위를 쓰고 나면 다른 쪽 무릅 밑이 놓고 …. 정말로 찬찬 하다고 말 했다. 가서 보라고 해서 가봤더니 말 들은 대로 한자리에 앉아서 찬찬히 일을 했다. 집에와서 그 이야기를 아들한테 남편 한테 말하고 메느리로 얻기로 결정 했다. 시집 오는 날 가마에서 내린 둘째 메누리는 햐체가 마비된 안즘 뱅이었다.

안중국민학교 5학년 학생들의 모심기 Anjung Elementary School 5th grade students planting rice seedlings 내가 다녓던 안중국민학하교는 한 마지기 정도 논과 두 마지기 정도 밭을 소유 하고 있었다. 5학년 때 초 여름에 5학년 반에서 열명 정도 남학생들이 학교 논에 모를 심었다. 나도 뽑혀 모를 심었다. 논 물은 거의 무릅까지 빠질 정도로 흙탕물이었다. 우리들은 선생님이 심으라는 지시 대로 심었다. 재수가 없어서인지 까만 거머리가 내 다리를 물어서 피가 줄 줄 나왔다. 그 때 선생님은 모자를 쓰고 양복을 입고 넥타이를 매고 구두를 신고 논 뚝에 서서 이러라 저러래 모 심는 우리 학생들에게 지시만 하고있었다. 솔 솔 부는 초 여름 바람에 그 선생님의 낵타이가 안면도 중장리 안중국민학교 하늘로 날렸다. 나이 90세가 된 지금 나는 그때 모심는그 날 그 선생님이 생각이 나서 이글을 쓴다. 그 선생님도 양복을 벗고 어린 학생들과 같이 모를 같이 심었었으면 ……..… … Continued
