연세대학교 의과 대학 재학 시절 나의 고향 안면도 무의촌에 1년에 한두번 의과 대학 학생들, 교수님 들이 안면도에 가서 화성사 염전 정동옥 사장님의 도움을 받고 무료 진료소를 얻고 무료로 자고 식사 대접 받고 또 우리집에서 나의 부모님깨서 닭을 몇 마리 잡아 대접하고 동네 사람들 무료 진료를 하고 나는 의사도 아닌 의학도가 의사 처럼 환자들을 무료로 돌봐 주니 우리 부모님은 그냥 참 좋아 좋아 하셨다. When I was a student at Yonsei University College of Medicine, my hometown, Muui Village on Anmyeondo Island, medical school students and professors went to Anmyeondo Island once or twice a year to receive help from Mr. Jeong Dong-ok, the owner of the Hwaseongsa salt farm, and receive free medical treatment. , I slept for free, received free meals, and stayed with my parents raising chickens. My parents were very happy because I caught a few fish and served them to the neighbors, and I, a medical student and not a doctor, took care of patients for free like a doctor.
