한국에서는 초중고교를 졸업하고 의예과를 마추고 의과대학을 졸업하고 , 미국에서는 4년제 대학교를 졸업하고 미국 내 의과대학 4년제를 졸업하고 한국내에서나 미국내 정규 병원에서 의사 인턴 과종을 마치고
소아과계 레지던트 과정 2년 마치고
소아과 연수 교육을 계속 2년간 더 받거나 소아과 수련 과정 2년간 더 받은후 소아고 전문의 자격 필기 고사 시험에 합격하고 소아과 전문의 구두 시험에 합격하면 소아과 전문의 자격증을 얻을 수 있다.
소아과 전문으로 진료를 하는 과정에 년간 적어도 40시간규정 된 소아과 연수교육을 받으면서 그 지방을 다른 소아과 전문의 좋은 평을 받아 소아과 펠로에 (FAAP)에 지원 합격하 미ㄷ국 소아과 학회 펠로가 될 수 있고 소아과 진료를 계속할려면 년간 계속 40여시간 이상 연수 교육을 받어야 한다.
The Process of Obtaining U.S. Pediatric Board Certification
To obtain U.S. pediatric board certification, one must complete the necessary educational and training steps: graduating from elementary, middle, and high school, completing pre-medical studies, and graduating from medical school (either in Korea or the U.S.); completing a medical internship at a recognized hospital; and finishing a pediatric residency program.
After completing the residency, one must undergo an additional two years or more of pediatric training or fellowship, and then pass both the written and oral board examinations for pediatrics.
While practicing as a pediatrician, one is required to complete at least 40 hours of continuing medical education (CME) annually. Additionally, by earning a strong reputation among peers and successfully applying, one can become a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP); maintaining this status and continuing to practice pediatrics requires ongoing annual participation in at least 40 hours of continuing education.
